It’s A Brad, Brad World Season Finale: Gary’s Big Surprise!
Feb 28th

Last night saw the season finale of It’s A Brad, Brad World and it was a watershed moment, as in this episode, Brad Goreski finally, finally admits he’s made it! This week he styled a very pregnant Jessica Alba for the Spy Kids 4 premiere, and did a shoot for J. Brand with Lindsay as his styling assistant. Jessica looked beautiful at the premiere, Lindsay didn’t screw anything up at the shoot, and J. Brand loved Brad and told him they would like to have him back. He did make their clothes look pretty great; now I want ALL the bright-colored cigarette pants for spring! Toward the end of the episode, Brad’s team informed him that Kate Spade wanted to form a partnership with him and take him on as a stylist for the brand. Hopefully we can finally put an end to his “struggling stylist” storyline.

This was all very exciting, but the best part of the episode was obviously Brad and Gary Janetti’s anniversary party. Brad’s involvement in the party planning was mostly limited to making Gary uncomfortable on purpose. While on a coffee date, he casually dropped: “I would hate if it rained on our wedding.” That was followed by with: “Are you working on your vows? …Are you going to say your vows before or after you lift my veil and give me a kiss?”
“Please don’t make me kiss you in front of everyone,” Gary begged him. He found this entire process to be “disturbingly life-consuming,” probably because of a mysterious surprise he spent most of the episode planning.
The day of the party arrived, and Steven the event planner made Gary have a cocktail to calm down before the first guests arrived. Brad’s mom and sister and Gary’s parents were among the first to show up, and we got a quick update on Brad’s relationship with his dad (still not very good, but his sister thinks he should stay optimistic about repairing their relationship). There was a parade of Brad and Gary’s celebrity friends, including Shay Mitchell, Megan Mullaly and Nick Offerman. The greatest moment of the episode was undoubtedly Gary’s surprise for Brad, which turned out to be a flash mob of friends, family, and coworkers serenading him with Les Misérables’ “One Day More.” Brad was delighted, the rest of the partygoers were delighted, I was delighted. It was a great way to end the season.
So, that’s that! Hopefully Brad and co. (especially Gary, we need so much more Gary) will return for a second season. When the show wasn’t preoccupied with Brad’s perceived need to hustle, it was much more fun and frothy and fun television than his former boss’s show. Plus, if there’s another season, maybe poor Jasper can finally have his moment in the spotlight. Until that happens, you can content yourself with watching “One Day More” over and over below, via Bravo:
WATCH: Reporter Lauds Bulimic Princess Diana For Being A Size Four
Feb 24th
What’s the question that burns deeply in the heart of everyone who loved Princess Diana from afar? Why, what size dress she wore, of course!
At least that’s the way Today Show reporter Janet Shamlain framed it this morning in her package about the exhibit of the People’s Princess’s clothes currently being staged at the Mall of America. Not how much they cost or where she wore them or the good she did in them, but what size they were. She got a eye-roll-filled answer from curator Graeme Murton that Diana didn’t have sizes because most of her clothes were couture or made to measure. But that didn’t stop her from speculating that most of them were either a size six or eight. But one of them got special attention for being even smaller.
Standing next to this gorgeous, turn-all-heads-in-the-room kind of gown .. it looks like a size four. And this was one of the gowns she wore after she was divorced. She wore her clothes a lot more tailored and more sexy then. It is just gorgeous.
Right. Because the only way to be gorgeous is to fit a sample size, and she only got that thin because of her struggle with bulimia. So that is something we should celebrate on national television.

Brad Pitt Might Have Been a Pimp

BRAD Pitt once had a job driving strippers to their gigs.
The Hollywood actor had to pick up the girls and take them to a specific party, where he then had to watch proceedings and catch the strippers’ clothes as they threw them off to make sure people didn’t steal them.
“I drove strippers, which was interesting,” he said.
“It was an odd job. There’s a place called the Job Factory where people listed odd jobs they needed for a little while and you’d go and sign up. It said, ‘Drive strippers.’ I said, ‘I got a car.’ My job was to go to the place and get the assignment, then go to the girl’s apartment, pick her up, and drive her to the party.
“You’d then be responsible for playing the music, which was cassette then. Then you had to catch the clothes so the guys wouldn’t steal them as they came off. And then you had to try to collect the money at the end and get out of there alive. It was not always easy.”
When asked if he enjoyed the work, Brad — who raises six children, Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, seven, Shiloh, five, and twins Knox and Vivienne, three, with his partner Angelina Jolie — replied: “Yes, I did.”
The 48-year-old star even met his late acting coach Roy London through the job after being persuaded to work for one more night after he tendered his resignation.
He explained: “There was a new girl there that night and sometimes when you drive, you strike up a conversation.
“She said she was dating an actor, an actor I had actually heard of. I didn’t know any actors – this was the closest I’d gotten to someone who actually worked. She told me about this class she started taking. I said, ‘Give me the name.’ It turned out to be Roy London, who was a beautiful human being.”
